HOW LONG IS EACH SESSION, AND HOW OFTEN ARE SESSIONS SCHEDULED?

Each individual therapy session is 45 minutes long, and is held weekly during a regular time slot. Once we meet, we can determine together whether to increase the length or frequency of your sessions.

HOW LONG WILL I BE IN THERAPY?

The length of treatment depends on each client’s unique goals and circumstances. I have many clients who choose to work with me long term, and some clients who seek out therapy in a time-limited capacity in order to address acute symptoms. We will frequently check in to ensure our work is feeling supportive and useful to you.

HOW DOES ‘OUT OF NETWORK’ COVERAGE FOR THERAPY WORK?

Many insurance companies offer Out of Network (OON) reimbursement, meaning that they reimburse you for a portion of your session fee if your therapist does not accept insurance. To determine your OON benefits, call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask to speak with the benefits department. They should be able to tell you the amount of reimbursement they offer for a 45-minute telehealth psychotherapy session.

Either weekly or monthly (depending on your preference), I will send you a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance to receive reimbursement for session costs. This receipt will include all necessary information, including session dates and procedure codes.

WHAT IF I HAVE OTHER QUESTIONS I WOULD LIKE ANSWERED BEFORE SCHEDULING A SESSION?
