HOW LONG IS EACH SESSION, AND HOW OFTEN ARE SESSIONS SCHEDULED?

Each individual therapy session is 45 to 60 minutes long, and is held weekly during a regular time slot. Once we meet, we can determine together whether to increase the length or frequency of your sessions.

HOW LONG WILL I BE IN THERAPY?

The length of treatment depends on each client’s unique goals and circumstances. I have many clients who choose to work with me long term, and some clients who seek out therapy in a time-limited capacity in order to address acute symptoms. We will frequently check in to ensure our work is feeling supportive and useful to you.

WILL MY SESSIONS BE COVERED BY INSURANCE?

I am in network with Aetna.

Otherwise, many of my clients use their out of network (OON) benefits to receive reimbursement directly from their insurance plan for a portion of each session cost. To determine your OON benefits, call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask to speak with the benefits department. They will tell you the amount of reimbursement (either a percentage or flat fee) they provide for a 60 or 45-minute telehealth psychotherapy session.

Either weekly or monthly (depending on your preference), I will send you a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance to receive your reimbursement.

WHAT IF I HAVE OTHER QUESTIONS I WOULD LIKE ANSWERED BEFORE SCHEDULING A SESSION?

It’s important to find a therapist you feel connected with, and who aligns with your therapy goals. I’m happy to answer any other questions you may have during your complimentary consultation call.
